PREPARATION
AND Y APPLICATION
It has to be applied on
a dry day with temperatures between 10 and 35º C. Paint out of direct
sunlight to avoid a quick drying which could cause blister on.
Surfaces must be dried and
completely free from mould, salt residue or lime.
New surfaces : Just built
swimming-pools will be filled with water for at least 50-60 days in order
to permit the solution of salts from the construction. After this, it must
be cleaned with hydrochloric acid 10-15%, disolved with water. Leave it
for 5 minutes and drench it with a lot of water. When the surface is completely
dried, apply one coat thinned with 15-20% of water and a second coat thinned
with 10% of water.
Painted surfaces : If paint
is in good condition, it will be cleaned with ten parts of water and one
part of trisodium phosphate in order to remove any dirt left, then apply
one or two coats of paint.
If old paint is in bad condition,
blistered or chipped,ect., these areas must be removed and then follow
the same procedure as new surfaces. If the surface shows mould or seaweeds,
it will be treated with an anti-mould cleaner.
SPREADING
