INDICATIONS
AND CHARACTERISTICS
Paint based on caoutchouc
chloride to be applied on concrete swimming pools or cement plasters.
Strong ahderence. Excellent
resistance to fresh and salt water. Quick drying.
Excellent resistance to
exterior and to alkalinity. Excellent coverage. Do not help the appearance
of moulds and seaweeds.
PREPARATION
AND APPLICATION
It has to be applied in
a dry day and temperatures between 10 and 35º C. Paint out of direct
sunlight to avoid a quick drying which could cause blister on.
Surfaces must be dried and
completely free of mould, salt residue, lime, suntan products, etc.
New surfaces : Just built
swimming-pools will be filled with water for at least 50-60 days in order
to permit the solution of salts from the construction. After this, it must
be cleaned with hydrochloric acid 10-15%, disolved with water. After 5
minutes drench it with a lot of fresh water. When the surface is completely
dried, apply one coat thinned with 15-20% of caoutchouc chloride thinner.
Apply two coats of paint, making sure to apply thick coat.
Painted surfaces : If paint
is in good condition, it will be cleaned with ten parts of water and one
part of trisodium phosphate in order to remove any dirt left, then apply
one or two coats of paint.
If old paint is in bad condition,
blistered or chipped,ect., these areas must be removed and then follow
the same procedure as on new surfaces. If the surface shows mould or seaweeds,
it will be treated with an anti-mould cleaner.
Before the swimming pool
can be filled with water, you will wait between 8 and 10 days.
Clean tools with caoutchouc
chloride thinner.

Approximately 8-12 m2/litre.

Pot life: 7 days at
50º C : All right. If the tin is not opened : One year.
Do not use by temperatures
below 5º C.
Gloss (on canvas PVC) :
Satiny.
