INTERIORS WALLS OF PLASTER

9.- INTERIORS WALLS OF PLASTER

Depending on the state of the surface we will use different products and tools.

Products to apply: Cover cracks, fixative, sealant, plastic or other finish.

Necessary tools: Sandpaper, spatula, tape.

Application system: Apply by brush, roller or spray gun.

Read the instructions on the packaging of the products to be used, drying times, applications, yields, etc.

PAINTED OF TOTALLY NEW SURFACES.

1.- A plaster surface, under normal conditions, needs 60 to 90 days to be painted. If painted without the plaster being completely dry, blisters and chips may occur on the paint film.

2.- Using a fine sandpaper remove all remaining residues from the same work.

3.- Remove the resulting dust with a brush or brush, taking care not to scratch the plaster.

4.- Using a round brush or roller, apply ACRIFIX fixative or CONCENTRATED LATEX, in order to uniform the absorption of the paint. Allow to dry for 24 hours.

5.- Fill any surface defects (holes, cracks, scratches, etc.) with a spatula. Leave to dry for 12 to 24 hours.

6.- Sand the mastics with fine sandpaper, thus unifying the surface.

7.- Remove dust by brush or brush.

If synthetic products are to be applied, a hand of UNIVERSAL SEALER must be applied to uniform the degree of porosity. If it is not done so, when applying the finish, stains can be noticed on the plumbers of different apparent tone, which will force to reapply more finishing hands than necessary.

If you are going to apply plastic finishes (see our wide range of MATES, SEMI-MATES AND SATINATES), apply a coat of ACRIFIX fixative to uniform the degree of porosity. If this is not done, The plastes of different apparent tonality, which will force to reapply more finishing hands than necessary.

8.- Cut painted the edge of the walls next to the frame of the door, the angles that form the wall and the ceiling.

9.- Then, using the bucket and the roller, apply the paint to the wall, as specified in the chapter CORRECT USE OF UTILITIES.

REPAINTING ON PAINTINGS AT THE TAIL OR SIMILAR.

SURFACES IN EVIL STATE.

1.- These types of paints should be removed by brush or spatula because they are paints with poor adhesion and cohesion, which is a poor basis for paints of superior quality.

2.- Fill with a spatula by means of a rig, plaste or tapagrietas, any surface defects (holes, cracks, scratches, etc.). Leave to dry for 12 to 24 hours.

3.- Sand the mastics with fine sandpaper, thus unifying the surface.

4.- Remove dust by brush or brush.

6.- Then, using the bucket and the roller, apply the paint to the wall, as specified in the chapter CORRECT USE OF UTILITIES.

SURFACES IN GOOD CONDITION.

1.- Apply to brush or roller a hand of ACRIFIX fixative, in order to provide the surface to paint the necessary conditions so that the paint to be applied has an optimal adhesion, otherwise, since the paintings are The glue or temper that is not water resistant, when painted with other water-based paints, the paint-soaked roller softens the layer of tempered paint, ripping off paint chips and even plaster.

2.- Cut painted the edge of the walls next to the frame of the door, the angles that form the wall and the ceiling.

3.- Then, using the bucket and the roller, the paint is applied to the wall, as specified in the chapter CORRECT USE OF UTILITIES.

REPAIR ON OIL PAINT, SYNTHETIC, PLASTICS, ETC.

SURFACES IN EVIL STATE.

1.- Remove, by means of scraper, sandpaper, etc., the badly adhered paint.

2.- Remove with soap and water, the residues produced by the previous operation. Let dry.

3.- Apply a sealant on the imperfections of the wall in order to waterproof the chips, voids, etc. Let dry.

4.- Fill with a spatula using a rigging, plaster or cover cracks, any surface defects (holes, cracks, scratches, etc.). Leave to dry for 12 to 24 hours.

5.- Sand the mastics with fine sandpaper, thus unifying the surface.

6.- Remove dust by brush or brush.

SURFACES IN GOOD CONDITION.

1.- Wash the surface with detergent and water. Let dry. If the surface to be repainted is shiny, it is very important to gently sand the wall to allow better adhesion of the paint. This operation can be done with fine sandpaper.

2.- Remove the resultant dust by brush or brush taking care not to scratch the plaster.

3.- Cut painted the edge of the walls next to the frame of the door, the angles that form the wall and the ceiling.

4.- Then, using the bucket and the roller, apply the paint to the wall, as specified in the chapter CORRECT USE OF UTILITIES.
